Return and Refund Policy
This Return Policy ("Policy") is established by Premiott S.R.L ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a legal entity registered in Romania under Unique Registration Number 49237841, ROONRC.J30/1083/2023, with its principal place of business located at str. Republicii nr 2g, Odoreu, Satu-Mare. This Policy governs the return and refund procedures for products ("Products") purchased from Premiott S.R.L by consumers ("Customer", "you").
1. General Return Conditions
To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- Returns must be initiated within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt by the Customer.
- Products must be returned in their original condition: unused, undamaged, and accompanied by all original tags, seals, and packaging. Any alteration or removal of original seals, particularly for watches, will render the Product ineligible for return.
- A valid proof of purchase is required for all returns.
2. Specific Conditions for Watches
Due to the delicate nature and high value of our custom and premium watches, the following additional conditions apply:
- Watches must be returned with all protective seals intact. The removal and subsequent reapplication of protective seals, regardless of intent or damage, will disqualify the watch from being returnable.
- We rigorously inspect all returned watches to confirm that no tampering or damage has occurred. Our inspection findings are final and non-negotiable.
3. Custom Configurator Watches
Final Purchase Agreement
Watches assembled through our custom configurator are tailored to each customer’s personal specifications, component by component, based on selections made via our online configurator tool. Due to the bespoke nature of these watches and the specific customer customization involved:
- No Returns on Configured Watches: Once a watch has been assembled according to your specific configuration, it is considered a final purchase. We do not accept returns for watches built using the configurator. This policy is in place because disassembling the configured watch to reuse parts typically results in component damage, thereby incurring losses that prevent resale or reuse.
Customer Acknowledgment
By choosing to use our configurator to build your watch, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The watch is custom-built to your individual preferences and specifications.
- You are fully aware that once assembled, the purchase is final and cannot be returned.
- We are not liable for changes of mind or dissatisfaction based on personal taste or preferences once the watch is delivered.
We encourage customers to review their configurations carefully and make sure they are satisfied with all selections (such as materials, colors, and components) before finalizing the order.
4. Exclusions
Custom-made products, made-to-order items, bespoke items, and products with personalized engravings are not eligible for return or exchange. This exclusion extends to our exotic and premium leather goods under the PREMIOTT SIGNATURE lineup, considered final sale upon purchase due to the unique nature of the materials used.
For both watches and leather goods (custom orders), where downpayments happen, representing 50% of the order's total value, are non-refundable. This is to acknowledge the commitment of resources, customization, and craftsmanship involved in preparing these orders. In the event of a full payment being made upfront for custom orders, a refund of only 50% of the total order value is applicable, reflecting the non-recoverable costs of customization.
In special cases, such as configured watches or leather items that have already been started production or already personalized, no refunds will be issued regardless of whether a full payment was made or not. This policy underscores the irreversible nature of personalization and the bespoke preparation involved in these exclusive products.
Our "1 of 1 Models" are unique, premade models offered as pre-chosen configurations by Premiott S.R.L. Although these watches are sold as exclusive items, they are eligible for return under the conditions describe above in General Return Conditions.
5. Refund Process
Upon receipt and satisfactory inspection of the returned Product, refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 10 business days. The Customer will be notified of the refund status.
6. Shipping Costs
The Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Premiott S.R.L recommends that returns be sent using a trackable shipping method. The Company is not responsible for returns lost OR damaged in transit.
7. Damages and Incorrect Shipments
Customers are advised to inspect their orders upon delivery. In the event of receiving defective or incorrect Products, Customers must contact Premiott S.R.L within 48 hours of receipt to qualify for a return or exchange, subject to verification by the Company.
Right of Withdrawal and Electronic Withdrawal Function
In accordance with European consumer protection law — Directive (EU) 2023/2673 amending Directive 2011/83/EU — and Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, consumers have the right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving the Product, without having to give a reason. This right does not apply to the exempt Products set out in Section 4 (in particular personalised Products, watches assembled through the configurator, and items with custom engraving, which are made to order according to the customer's specifications).
To exercise your right of withdrawal electronically, go to your Premiott customer account and use the withdrawal function available there. You will complete a two-step confirmation in which you provide your name and the details of the order you wish to cancel. After submission, you will automatically receive, on a durable medium (by email), a confirmation that your withdrawal request has been received.
Alternatively, you may also exercise your right of withdrawal by means of an unequivocal statement sent to Premiott S.R.L., stating your name and the details of your order, using the contact details provided in Contact information.
Legal Compliance
This Policy is designed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of Romania and the European Union. It may be updated or amended by Premiott S.R.L at its discretion to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations.
Acknowledgment
