At Premiott, engraving isn't a service tacked on at the end: it's part of how the watch comes to life. You choose the model, dial, case color, and bracelet in the configurator, then write the text that matters, a date, a name, a line from a letter, and we engrave and assemble the watch by hand, in our workshop in Cluj-Napoca.
The engraving goes on the caseback, the side facing your wrist: it doesn't show from the outside and stays a message between the two of you. It doesn't add any waiting time, we ship in 1–7 days, with engraving and assembly already done.
Under the sapphire crystal beats a Seiko NH35 automatic movement, wound by the motion of your wrist, no battery. Every watch comes with a 24-month warranty, and prices start at 1,400 lei.

Everything happens in the configurator. First you choose the model, Mariner (sporty design, inspired by dive watches), Just Date (classic, with a date window), Heritage (elegant, with an integrated bracelet), or Lady Just (the women's version), then the dial, case color, hands, and bracelet. At the end you reach the personalization step, where you write the text you want engraved. We engrave exactly what you write, character by character, so it's worth rereading your text once before ordering: an engraved watch can no longer be changed.
Short message ideas
The best engravings are short and specific. A few directions that work well: a date that means something ("12.06.2021"), your initials, a name and a year ("For Andrei, 2026"), a family phrase ("Your father's"), a line from a message you've already written each other, the coordinates of where you met or, simply, "Time with you". Who an engraved watch makes sense for
For anniversaries and birthdays, where the engraved date turns a beautiful object into a milestone. For godparents and newlyweds, where a pair of watches with the same date says more than a standard gift. For a coming-of-age gift, when the first automatic watch, usually a Just Date comes with a name and year on the back. And for professional milestones: a promotion, a finished project, the first ten years at a company. Frequently Asked Questions
Does an engraved watch ship later than a plain one?
No. Engraving isn't a step tacked onto the end of the queue: it happens at the same workbench, in the same pass as assembly. The timeline stays exactly the same, therefore, we ship in 1–7 days from your order, engraved or not.
What can I engrave, and how many characters do I have?
A name, initials, a date, or a short message, maximum 10 characters spaces included. Romanian diacritics (ă, î, ș, ț) are supported. You enter the text in the personalization step of the configurator, and the short limit isn't a drawback: on metal, concise messages look the most elegant, "A+M 2026", "Dad", "Since 2016".
Does engraving affect the case or the movement?
No. The text only goes into the surface layer of the caseback, and the case still closes just as tightly as before. Underneath, an untouched Seiko NH35 automatic movement keeps working, wound by the motion of your wrist, no battery, and at the front sits the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Does engraving shorten the warranty?
No. The 24-month warranty runs exactly the same for an engraved watch as for a plain one, text on the caseback isn't an intervention on the movement, so it doesn't change anything we cover.
Can I return an engraved watch?
No, and it's the one line on this page worth reading twice. A caseback engraved with your text can no longer go to anyone else, which is why products made to the customer's specifications are exempt from the 14-day right of return (OUG 34/2014). The 24-month warranty against defects remains untouched. In practice: reread your text in the personalization step, before placing your order.

Pe scurt un lucru de calitate o echipă mai mult decât profesionistă , un mod de comunicare dus la superlativ. Comanda toți pași urmați precum și calitatea ceasului mă repet de o mare calitate.

După trei luni de utilizare revin cu o recenzie. Ceasul este superb, rezistă la utilizare zilnică. După 90 de zile de purtare aproape non-stop pot să spun că ceasul rezistă exemplar la treburile zilnice. Este utilizat daily și este un ceas rezistent și foarte comod pentru toate zilele. Recomand dacă doriți un ceas frumos, rezistent și de calitate, cu siguranță o să mai cumpăr 👍🏻👍🏻

Am comandat un ceas personalizat, ceasul arata foarte bine, persoana de contact a fost foarte amabila, si deschisa la a da sugestii si la raspunde la nelamuriri. Desi timpul a fost foarte scurt , si aveam nevoie sa- ajunga intr-o saptamina, fiind un cadou de aniversare ,acesta a ajuns in 4 zile , personalizat .
